I found this diary left by the side of a Mole Hill in my garden.
First entry: August 2, 1956.
I'm only 9 months old and I'm already fed up with dirt. I have spent today underground covered in dirt. Bumped into another mole by mistake, and wrote the first entry in my diary.
August 3, 1956.
I ate three large earthworms for breakfast, four for lunch, and five for my tea.
August 4, 1956.
I made love for the first time today with what I'm hoping was another mole. Had seven earthworms for tea.
August 5, 1956.
Almost had my head caved in by a monstrous creature who lives where the sky is. Spent rest of the day wondering about the meaning of life. One earthworm for tea, not very hungry, and sick of earthworms.
To be continued
